2018 March: dip update 5/n
[Orig: March 23, 2018]
A dip in brightness began Friday (2018 March 16). Here is the updated light curve with a measurement from TFN (bad weather at ELP and OGG).
Ive also added points from TJO (in Catalonia, see here for reference), which are plotted in orange. TJO is around the same longitude as TFN, which means the star is visible around the same time of night at each location. Recall that in paper linked above, data from TJO were used to corroborate as well as help fill in time coverage for the sharp, short lived dip within the center of Skara Brae (Figure 3). There have only been 4 clear nights at TJO in the past month, but we got super lucky and caught the start and bottom of the dip!
Have a great weekend!

PS: These observations are happening because of the wonderful backers of our 2016 Kickstarter project. The Kickstarter campaign has ended, but we are still accepting donations to purchase additional observing time on the LCO 0.4m network. Thanks in advance for your support!
